Referees Needed

Referee Shortage

Wisconsin is currently in the midst of the larget soccer referee shortage. Referee membership is currently down over 50% since last year. Referees are crucial to the learning and betterment of the game of soccer. Unless there are more referees who register for Spring, it will be difficult to fill referees at every level of the youth game.

Milwaukee Kickers Referee Initiative

Milwaukee Kickers is excited to announce our new Referee Reimbursement Policy to help offset recertification costs. Referees are eligible for this reimbursement if they match the below criteria:

1). Are currently a player or a parent of Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club
2). Referee 8 Kickers recreational game, youth academy game, or Uihlein Soccer Park tournament game in Spring 2021

Reimbursement amount will be proportional to the amout of referees applying for reimbursement but will not exceed $70. To apply for the reimbursement, please contact Kyle Trimble. The deadline for applying for reimbursement is July 1st.
